Good book of Folklore?

[The Grumpy Celt]

I have been hunting, for some time now, a decent collection of American folklore. Ideally, this would include various ghost stories, but that is not a requirement.

A good example would be Every Tongue Got to Confess by Zora Neale Hurston – I’ve already got a copy.

Are you aware of any other good collections?
