Gunslinging Last I checked, the WarCraft RPG has at least two classes related to gunslinging. In the first edition (WarCraft: The RPG), there was an Alliance & Horde Compendium or somesuch title, which included a Marksman PrC. It was one of the few mediochre things in a truly awful book (IMHO, of course). In the second edition (renamed World of WarCraft The RPG), The Alliance and Horde get seperate "Compendiums" or Handbooks, which are substantially larger and more fleshed out than the 1st edition product. From what I can tell, they're also somewhat more polished in terms of mechanics. While I've only looked through the Alliance Handbook in passing, I did note that there was a new Gunslinger PrC that piqued my interest. In particular, it has an ability where it can cause magical enhancements to "stick" to your hands while quick drawing, allowing you to pull a magic flintlock (say, +1 flaming), drop it, quick draw a non-magical flintlock, and treat it as if it were +1 flaming as well. Coupled with the TWF/Quick Draw firearms feats in WoW:RPG, this could result in a great deal of damage (not to mention a pile of spent pistols at the gunslinger's feet, which has become a common occurance in my AE game since the introduction of firearms). Having also looked through Iron Kingdoms, I kinda dislike the Gunmage class, although I would be willing to give it a try. The Pistoleer in there isn't bad either, but it's not exactly what I want for my own campaign (which also happens to include firearms). I own and use the Legends and Lairs Sorcery and Steam book for my firearm needs, but the Gunglyph PrC in that book is also lacking a certain something. Modifying Order of the Bow Initiate may be a good idea for Ptolus, especially if you tie it into the worship of Teun, the Mother of all Machines, the Shuul, or some other pseudo-religious force of Technology I might be forgetting.
