Good Name for a Series of NPCs?

Brimshack

First Post
Okay, so I'm trying to name a series of NPCs I want to produce. They are 3.5 characters, and they will run the gamut from LG to CE, fighter to mage, monster to hafling, etc, level 1-20. Basically, if it could fit in a D&Dish world, we could put it in here. The character narratives will be fairly general so as to make them accessible to any setting. It occurs to me that we should give it a name, the series, I mean, but I can't think of one.

"Champions" - Too WWF.
"Characters" - Get Serious.
"Denizens" - Of what?
"Rogues" - The paladin has lodged an objection.
"Personalities" - (Yawn!)
"Heroes" - Says you!

Maybe it needs at least 2 words, I don't know. Not a decision of earthshattering importance. Still, it's something I hadn't thought about before. What to name a whole range of NPCs. Does anyone have any ideas?

Oh hey!

Thanks for the response guys. I like a couple of those ideas. Got a few from another source too, and we're still mulling it over. Have a few getting in dressed up now, so to speak (layout). We should start cranking them out here pretty soon. I do appreciate the suggestions.

Okay, so we got it started. I tried to make an announcement in the lower forums since its a promotional item, but that didn't go through, so I'll just note it here. We decided to call them "Unusual Suspects." Right now we have 3 up; and we have text for 3 more, ideas for dozens of course...

I'm using a 32 point buy and these 3 are definitely not min-maxed, more intended as campaign flavor than heavy hitting uber-schmackers. Each is 20 levels of character, which means creating them is a bit time intensive, but the idea is to provide maximum flexibility to the DM. I hate when I see the perfect concept in an prefab NPC only to realize its 3-4 levels off what I need. You can always modify them of couse, but then you might as well make your own. The idea here is to solve that by letting the GM use exactly the level he needs. The PDFs take a bit to download, but you only have to print one page, really 3-4 if you want the narrative too.
