Google 2001

Frostmarrow

First Post
Apparently Google is celebrating 10 years as a search engine and they have released their 2001 index (the oldest they've kept intact). I thought what the heck and googled my handle; Frostmarrow. Lo and behold, the very birth of my moniker appeared!

Way back, before EverQuest was launched, I had a friend who somehow sensed how big online RPGs was going to become. This must have been in 1998 or something. He had already decided upon a character. It was going to be a necromancer by the name of Aldor. He also decided to form a guild and called that Pentagram. He employed me to write a backstory for the guild and I agreed.

I wrote this: Order of Oblivion

I signed the backstory Frostmarrow and subsequently used the name as a handle at Eric's original boards.

Now years later I find this old drivel and can't help but feel a bit proud. Today the guild is no longer called Pentagram and my part is all but forgotten. -I never even played EQ. Still, kind of cool. :)

Why don't you look up your handle here?

The only hit for my handle is someone spelling abishai wrong, which makes sense because that's how I came up with it.

I'm an international internet Bingo game?!? oh my stars and garters!

It wasn't until about 30 hits in that I saw where I first spotted the word I would use- an Activition game.

Course I revisted it when trying to name a superhero with photographic reflexes with a massive (maniac) personality issue... thus Megamania.
