All of this mostly exists so that any PC that wants to play one can, in which case they can be more like the 3.x version of the halfling which won't fit in too well with their race although there is always an undercurrent of interest and wonder with such peoples. Any halfling adventurer entering a halfling bar and boasting about their adventures would quickly find themselves scolded for living such a life by a town elder. The same elder, after making sure he had a full beer, would then hush the rest of the tavern so he could hear the rest of the adventurer's story, "...just to be polite you understand".</p></blockquote><p></p>
