(Rather a lot of paint slopping, and a few places that only have a base color, with no shading at all.)I will bring both to the game tomorrow and allow the player to choose, then discuss what she wants done with the mini - a complete repaint was what she wanted, sight unseen, but if (when) she chooses the better of the two figures it might really only need some minor filling around the wings, some matching colors, some shading, and some touch ups.It pretty much comes down to what she wants for skin tone. (I always pictured Orcus more tanned flesh than any shade of red.) I can trim a lot off of my original time estimate if she likes the base colors.The difference between the two is quite noticeable, not very subtle at all. On one the painter(s) took some real care. The other, not so much.The Auld Grump*EDIT* Yes, the base is removable, which will make it much easier to paint and flock.</blockquote>
