If you plan on going whole hog into Scarred Lands I can't recommend their Player's Guides highly enough. Blows away any of the WotC classbooks imo. Lots of background on the various classes and how they fit into the SL as well as a ton of organizations, cultures and sects for your PCs to join or fight with. it also helps that they are a good read too! Divine and Defeated is also a solid setting book. The god stats were dissappointing but there is so much other SL goodness packed into this volume that they are a minor annoyance. Edge of Infinity: The Scarred Planes is also a surprisingly good book on the planes. If that is your cup of tea I recommend that one too. The city books I got the most use out of were Hornsaw: Forest of Blood, Shelzar: City of Sins, Hollowfaust: City of the Necromancers and Blood Sea: The Crimson Tide. Calastia: the Black Throne also has some great places and details on running a Calastia based campaign. For creature books I have the original Creature Collection and CC 2. Obviously you'd want the revised CC but the CC2 is also a good monster book (mmm Siege Undead!) and I use it regularly. The Relics and Rituals volumes 1 & 2 while having a lot of information such as spells, magic items and prestige classes aren't as vital as other books listed here but can give you a better 'flavour' of SL with setting specific spells, magic items etc. As strange as it may sound the Gazetteers for Ghelspad and Termana see quit ea bit of use in my game still. I let the players reference anything in them as kind of a 'general knowledge' each of them would have living on the variosu continents. They get used about every other session (and my SL campaign is 2 years old now).
