I mean, in theory it produces a set of villains the PCs can take on, but really AFAICT, if you run this game close to the inspiration (let's face it; this is basically a James Bond/MI d20 game), the nature of the mystery is going to be the main challenge, and the mastermind system won't bear directly on it.I will say I likes some of the sample seasons, especially Martin St. James.
