I'll have to find this one, seems interesting.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul"><strong><em><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_by_Decree" target="_blank"><strong><em>Murder By Decree</em></strong></a></em></strong> (1979): Sherlock Holmes (Christopher Plummer) and Dr. Watson (James Mason) investigate the Whitechapel murders. Amusingly, a couple of actors from <strong><em>A Study in Terror</em></strong> were in this one, too; one of them in the same role!</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul"><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_the_Ripper_(miniseries)" target="_blank"><strong><em>Jack the Ripper</em></strong></a> (1988 miniseries): I actually remember I watched this when it was on television -- I'm a sucker for a Michael Caine film. He plays Inspector Abberline in it, and I remember liking it quite a bit, but reading Wikipedia it looks like they took some liberties with the characters.
