A dragonette can only live for 5 rounds in the open air, so it must find a person to possess in order to survive. There aren’t many witch-burnings nowadays so she usually shows up after someone falls asleep while smoking in bed. </p><p></p><p>Although she isn’t physically threatening, Smoke Dragon is almost impossible to catch. She’s smart enough to always leave one or two possessed people hanging back from any confrontations. That way, if she dies the reserved duplicate will become the new original. If threatened in combat, Smoke Dragon will first create a cloud, then make duplicates for one or two rounds, and then have all the dragonettes split up in different directions. Her enemies will then have to decide which dragon to follow. If any dragonette gets away successfully, she will self destruct and transfer to that form. </p><p></p><p>Smoke Dragon is also a good liar and follows the number one rule of Super Villainy: make the heroes do all the work for you.</p><p></p><p></p><p><strong>OOC Comments</strong></p><p>I wanted to create a villain with mass possession. I thought about doing an area of effect mind control or something like that, but then decided duplication and possession had more style. It makes her almost impossible to catch. Using Duplication there is always a “real” character and the less real duplicates, but combining the survival extra, and a feat that allows her to will her own death seemed like a tricky away around the situation where “if you get the queen all the workers die too.”</p><p></p><p>This is another "Day from Hell" villain. I expect that the PCs will foil whatever she's doing and kill some duplicates, but not capture her. Hopefully she'll make a good recurring villain.</p></blockquote><p></p>
