Message: <blockquote data-quote="cignus_pfaccari" data-source="post: 1439435" data-attributes="member: 14557">In a Shadowrun game, we were a bunch of government agents who'd been given the directive to take private contracts so as to not depend on an agency budget too much.So, we're in New York, tracking down somebody who's blackmailing a judge who's (1) a mage, which he wants to keep quiet, and (2) had his thesis stolen, which creates an astral link and opens him to more than just blackmail.  To make our job easier, he writes us up a passel of "fill-in-the-blanks" warrants, which we wind up not using very much.Legwork and fighting ensue, until we finally beat the blackmailer, take back the thesis, and deposit it with the judge.  We then somehow get ahold of this forger that the blackmailer was working with, who, under magical interrogation, mentions that the blackmailer had him forge a bunch of warrants.Dead silence.  Fortunately, however, they weren't *our* warrants, but it still freaked us out.The DM later said it was fun watching me go pale.Brad</blockquote>
