Shadowrun, mix of 2e and 3e. Team is a group of government black ops/jack-booted thugs. We're told that, since we're not going to be continuously busy, we should probably look for some side jobs on the side, but be sure to spend the money before the end of the fiscal year, as otherwise we become a profit center. So, we're on the road from St. Louis to KC to take a job, when we see a Fuchi Consumer Electronics tractor-trailer. Well, the troll Secret Service agent gets the idea that he should take our new objectives to heart, and start on a life of road piracy. The decker guns the engine and we get right behind the truck. The troll (who, I should mention, weighs about 600-odd pounds) climbs onto the hood, and right as the car starts to die, jumps onto the back of the trailer and hangs on. Troll (in a dress shirt, dress pants, tie, and with a ski mask) opens the door and crawls in on top of a stack of toasters. Goes back into the truck over various bits of consumer electronics, finally getting to the very back, and the case of a dozen cyberdecks. Grab a few $200k cyberdecks, and crawl back out. Well, how's he gonna get out? He could take over the truck, but figures that might hurt him, and he's not real keen on assaulting the driver and guard. Then he looks at the pallet of toasters. Opens both doors, clears a bit of room, and shoves the pallet of toasters out, riding it down onto the road. The GM loves this, and makes the troll roll his Athletics to not get himself killed. Fortunately, through the use of vast quantities of karma, it does. Troll gets picked up by a team member on a motorcycle, while the decker's on the phone to AAA to get a pickup, and the Fuchi tractor-trailer gets pulled over by the State Police for dropping its cargo everywhere. Ah...that was fun. Brad
