Greater Glyph of warding + Harm

A situation has come up where Harm was used as the spell that is triggered by the Glyph of Warding placed on a treasure chest.. Since the character would have to touch the chest to trigger the Glyph then the Harm is automatic... ??????

Off the top of my head, I'd say yes. Could be lots of fun with a second glyph that summoned, oh, say a Fiendish Dire Girrilon.

Ummm yes and no. If this is a standard glyph of warding then the spell can only channel up to 3rd level spells. If it's a DM souped up variant, then yes the harm would be automatic.

Sure. As long as you're prepared to balance harm in your campaign (say, with a saving throw) then by all means do so - with greater glyph of warding.

And put a second glyph there that stores a magic missile spell (with 2 missiles).
