And you're OK with this... This is even worse behavior! This is actively misusing a certain portion of your fanbase. And everyone is of course 'free' to spend their money, but looking how certain people have a gambling problem, others have a spending and/or 'guilt' problem. They don't have an as 'free' choice as many other people when certain entities start pushing certain buttons. @Sacrosanct It IS a GR problem, that problem is of course caused by a partner they used (DD), but that doesn't mean that it's anything less then a GR problem. That has nothing to do with whether I like or dislike a company, overall I had a very positive view on GR, until now. I don't hope they'll rot, I hope they do great in their niche! But I do think that they need to deal with the consequences themselves, I also believe that if you intend to run a healthy company, you need to plan for such eventualities, and they didn't. That's on them. That might be due to my cultural perspective, where we have a very clear divide between consumers and companies. Consumers are protected, companies are not. When you move into the company space, you have the ability to make more money, at the cost of more risks. Here people took risks, but are putting the consequences on a certain part of the community. I'm not saying they shouldn't ask for help, but they shouldn't ask for money for no goods. Over the decades I've seen tiny companies make mistakes and needed money for machinery, fixing X, paying taxes, etc. What generally happened was that they offered vouchers to be redeemed in X amount of months. Often in the range of pay $100 and get a voucher for $125. This helped everyone out. They got guaranteed sales for a large amount, while getting the money now, and we got a significant discount that we could spent whenever. I find what GR is asking for WAY to one-sided for a business that's been around for decades.
