This Mythic Vistas sourcebook brings medieval Europe to life. With new rules for natural magic, theurgy, saints, templars, and more, the Medieval Player’s Manual gives you everything you need to have exciting adventures in the age of Christianity and crusade. The book also presents Kin of the Conqueror, a campaign setting detailing the anarchic period after the death of King William the Conqueror. From 1087 to 1154 the British Isles and northern France were convulsed by wars over his legacy. Plunge into adventure with Kin of the Conqueror, or use the rules to explore other parts of the medieval world. Either way, the Medieval Player’s Manual is your starting point for a new d20 experience.

This is the second of Green Ronin's Advanced Rulebooks for the d20 System, THE essential supplements of 2004. The Advanced Player's Manual complements the Player's Handbook with new options and abilities. Enhance your d20 fantasy game with luck rules, a new dynamic alignment system, expanded benchmarks for skills, alternate spellcasting classes and scores of supporting new spells, unit combat rules, culturally-based variants for racial abilities, and a whole lot more. Written by D&D 3E and Draconomicon author Skip Williams, the Advanced Player's Manual has something for everyone. If you buy only one sourcebook for the d20 System, this should be the one.

Request or demand?

Given the "Heads we win, tails you lose" clause in the STL, does it matter?

WOTC: We'd like you to change the title of those books, please.

GR (hypothetically):No.

WOTC: OK, we've just revised the STL. Now you HAVE to change them.

Agreeing just eliminates the "change the STL" part. For now.

It was a request. They are basically not keen to have a bunch of books floating out there that say "Player's Handbook" on them. We have a very amicable relationship with WotC, so we agreed to the change.

Agreed Shatterstone. Anything with the GR logo ALWAYS gets a look from me. Especially regarding fiends, unholy warriors, and cosmologies. :)

Actually, the words "Player's Handbook" have now been banned from d20 licensees' publications in the d20 license. Therefore, Lizard's version seems to be quite correct - except of the "No!", of course :D.
