[ooc]Lex Investigation [roll0] Lex persuasion [roll1] Well hell. How am I going to describe that... [/ooc] Everyone watches as the Modron leaves the building. [sblock=LEX] Less than a block away headed back into the Hive Lex hears groaning and a gruff voice "Talk" Followed by more groaning and the sound of bare knuckles crashing into flesh and bone. Up against a walk two young looking humans hold the arms of another man with a swollen and bruised eye as a third very large man with a great sword across his back hits him again, this strike to the stomach and hard enough to lift the well dressed victim off the ground. "You here to kill barmies you piece of-" "Hey hey hey Mordrigaarz look" One of the smaller men interrupts the interrogation and points to Lex. "Oh wait, I recognize him, he's one of us." The large man grabs the victim by the scruff of the neck and tosses him to the side "Don't let me catch you in the hive again or you'll swing from the leafless tree." The battered man runs off not looking back. Both sides of the conversation start to talk in chaos speak, Lex using an intricate pattern he came up with to semi-randomize the order or words to mimic this language. After introductions Lex explains that he has the person Mordrigaarz is looking for and that it seems that the Dustmen are behind it all. Mordrigaarz seems skeptical but agrees to follow you back. He's heard of you it seems that the novelty and irony of a Modron in the Chaosmen is a popular story among members. Something changes in Mordrigaarz step, you can hear it but can't decipher it, as you get to the doorway. Just before entering you feel the point of a sharp instrument at your back. "Be boys smell bad ready." It was Mordrigaarz voice. It seems he has decided that you are either trying to trick him somehow. You all enter the building cautiously to find the rest of the party and Shadowknave waiting impatiently.[/sblock] EVERYONE You see Lex enter the room, he looks uncharacteristically uneasy, missing his winning smile. 3 men follow him, one very large man holding a great sword to Lex's back, the other two holding short swords, appearing to be expecting some kind of trouble. The large one speaks. "I know up to not Modron trick not better be."
