Grell Head Studios - Minor Facelift

Hey all,

Just a quick post to point out that the Grell Head Studios web site has had a minor facelift. I have received several comments from non-broadband users that the spiffy background graphic just took too darn long to download.

I created my own background pattern to match the purple/gray motif, and eliminated the book-cover graphic from the home page. That should help out on loading times. Sure is purple, though!

Hi there lad, well you ask for input here it comes:

OK I'll give you some suggestions, try as little spectrum in the background as possible (the purple/white you have now does distort text a bit), this is from a user-friendly POV. This makes it easier on the the eyes and the visiotors will stay longer aswell (which is always good).

Try a dark grey/dark purple with a light text (not white) or light grey/light purple pattern if you like dark/black text instead.

The next thing is a matter of navigation (this is a personal preference though) it is easier to navigate and for the user (well refering to me here at least, cannot speak for the bunch on this one), if the navigation is on the left side of the site with the contents so it is easy to see both the material you wanna see and the navbar at the same time (this is referring to the images that is linked on the top of the contents)

Well, enough with my opinion, oh I mean no offense with this, just want you to have an optimized user interface really.

And in any case, one learns from trial and error/trial and success
