can anyone tell me some sources for info on the following locations, please?

loftwick
are there any good published sources for these? also, does anyone know much about the origins of the orbs of dragon kind? were they created by the seul, or the oeridians who controlled them for some time. has there ever been any timeline concerning them?

Dragon 230 had a fairly good article on the Orbs of Dragonkind. They were indeed created by the Suel, circa -2300 CY. The article also details where the orbs are in the year 585 CY - ten years ago, by current reckoning.

Orb of the Hatchling was kept in Rauxes for two centuries until it was stolen by agents of Duke Szeffrin, a.k.a. The Great Murderer of Almor.

Orb of the Wyrmkin was originally stolen by a Suloise army officer. The fleeing rebels who held the orb shipwrecked in Jeklea Bay and the orb is now in the hoard of a kraken known as Slash Eye.

Orb of the Dragonette was taken to an island in Solnor Ocean by a Suel archmage, before the Rain of Colourless Fire. He died of natural causes and the island is now surrounded by sahuagin who have found the orb and use it to control young dragons to attack ships.

Orb of the Dragon was still in the Suel capital when the Rain struck. It was later recovered by a bunch of adventures from the Hold of the Sea Princes, and moved to another ruined city on the borders of the former empire. There, adventurers from Yeomanry found it, and moved it to a secret location near Loftwick, where it rests to this day.

Orb of the Great Serpent originally nicked from the Suel by the Bakluni, and later made its way to the hands of Zagig Yragerne. Zagig hid it in the north, in the Land of the Black Ice in an extraplanar construct of his on par with Dungeonland and The Land Beyond the Magic Mirror[/i9.

Orb of the Firedrake is held by a shadow dragon and his undead drow followers in tunnels under the Hellfurnaces.

Orb of the Elder Great Wyrm is in a tunnel complex inhabited by monsters in the Sea of Dust. The orb is cursed thus that its user loses one hit point per day unless he can get someone else to become the user or take it to its original resting place, an antimagical room in a military building half a mile below the surface of the Sea of Dust.

Orb of the Eternal Grand Dragon stolen by Tiamat herself from the Suel, because she feared its power. Presently held in a fortress in Avernus. Tiamat isn't concerned about mortal adventures getting it. She's more worried about the tanar'ri.

As for Niole Dra, Gradsul and Loftwick... No idea. Have you checked Living Greyhawk regional websites? They might have sourcebooks on stuff in their region, including info on major cities, or at least pointers where the info could be found. Here's Yeomanry's home page, for starters.

There was a living greyhawk/polyhedron not too far back that had good articles on keoland in general. parts of this are on the living greyhawk keoland website
