Grim-N-Grity Psi rules with d20 Modern?

First Post
Has anyone here tried using Kenneth Hood's Grim-N-Gritty Psionics rules with d20 Modern (as a replacement for the D&D-like psi rules in Modern)?

I'm considering using them in an upcoming d20 Modern campaign but I've never run a game using them. I'm also considering patching the skills into the Star Wars Force Power system to expand it a little.

Any comments or suggestions?

Thanks!

Does any one know where I can find Kenneth Hood's Grim-N-Gritty Psionic Rules? And are their rules for Magic spells?

Let me know. Thanks.

Well, to be utterly clear about this, Ken Hood did not call his Psionics system Grim-n-Gritty. He had an alternate hit point/AC system which was called that. His Psionics was a skills and feats system, which I don't believe he gave a formal name.

However, good news on where to find them. Ken Hood's D20 martial arts, D20 firearms, and D20 psionic rules were incorporated into Otherworld Creations' Forbidden Kingdom: Pulp Adventures rules

You can find the .pdf version of the Forbidden Kingdoms rules for sale over at RPGNow. HERE

There has been a Forbidden Kingdoms accessory also published as a pdf. HERE

I own the dead tree edition of Forbidden Kingdoms, and although I haven't had a chance to run a campaign with it, I can't recommend it highly enough for those wanting a near-modern D20 campaign rules system.

Thanks for the plug Eric!

We incorporated all of Ken Hood's Martial Arts and Psionics into FK and like Eric said, you can get the Babbage Edition at RPGNow.com for a measly $8.00. (If you pick up Paris: The Spectral City ($6.00) you can use the coupon in the back to get FK for $6.00 as well.)

Hyrum.
