Grim Tales Character Generator

I repeatedly tell myself that I plan to do this in PCGen, but my group doesn't play Grim Tales unfortunately. Enough of the work has already been done there, as it already includes the permissioned OGC from d20 modern, spycraft, AND D&D, to the point where all that needs doing is cutting and pasting the appropriate pieces together, extending the class charts, and making sure the prereq's fit.

I have a basic one that I wrote up for my group. It does SOME of the figuring for you, but not overly much. When I get home I will post it if I can (home computer bad!!! ;))

I worked for about three hours in DMGenie to get the PLACEHOLDERS in place for GT character creation. At least having all the talent and feat names, the basic statistics for the classes, etc etc.

I could try to port it out, not that anybody uses DMGenie, but it's really REALLY rough and you mostly have to know what's up to make heads or tails of it. :) Works for me, though. I got tired of spending untold minutes making GT characters ... after DMGenie I've got serious patience issues when making characters.

If Wulf gets a good, solid, or at least passably workable Cgen out I'll kiss him full on the mouth.

Or pay him for it.

M'beard is sorta scratchy, last I heard, so maybe he'll take Visa.

I found my VERY basic one... it does NOT do much work for you :( and I am not an Excel expert enough to get VLOOKUP to work for the skills sections (so I settled for a VERY basic '=such and such a cell' to make it work).

NOW if someone wants to take this and work out the kinks I'm totally cool with that.

I have to believe you're overthinking the process, then.

My current going rate for full-on-the-mouth kisses is $7.99.

Oh, sorry, you meant pay for the c-gen.

Well, KirinTor is a CodeMonkey and he's been hounding me for the files he needs for a while now.
