I and two friends are seeking a new DM in the Portland, Oregon area. Our old DM is currently on Sabbatical. He has DMed for us for close to 10 years, running a variety of different campaigns so we are used to playing in long-term stable campaigns. We tend to play straight 3.0 or 3.5 rules. We prefer the default D&D magic level. We always play good or neutral characters and we always play heroic characters. We like to save the kingdom and take out the bad guys. We are half-roleplayers and half power-gamers. But don't let the power-gamer side of us turn you off. We respect DM rulings and are really easy to play with. We are NOT munchkins or rules-lawyers. We like cool stories and character development. We are used to playing the Forgotten Realms but aren't opposed to playing in a DM's homebrew as long as house rules haven't totally changed the nature of the game. We like high level or even epic level gaming with intricate story arcs and character development. We don't mind starting at a lower level but we like to play our characters on into epic levels without the campaign constantly restarting. We are all twenty-something, clean cut, professionals with years of D&D experience. 2 of us live in Beaverton and one of us lives in Gresham. We'll drive anywhere in the Portland area if we can find a good DM. We can also play at one of our houses. We prefer to play on Sundays, but that may be negotiable. We may be able to dig up a fourth player, so if you are a DM looking for a complete veteran group of good players, post to this thread or e-mail me directly.
