I've written up a couple of grouped sets of magic items. These are decent enough magic items by themselves, but are improved when paired with their companion item. I haven't yet written up the history behind the items, and the item pricing may need improvement, but for your perusal, amusement, yoinking, or whatever, here they are: Gezzen’s Leathers Gezzen’s Armor: Gezzen’s armor is +2 studded leather armor. The leather is brightly dyed in loud, gaudy colors. The wearer receives a +3 luck bonus on all saves vs. blinding, dazzling, deafening, and stunning effects. If Gezzen’s armor is worn in conjunction with Gezzen’s boots, the armor’s enhancement bonus increases to +3, and the wearer can ignore concealment granted to an opponent by effects such as blur, displacement, or other similar effects. Invisibility is still effective against the wearer, however. Faint abjuration; CL 6th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, remove blindness/deafness; Price 7,000 gp; Weight 20 lb. Gezzen’s Boots: These special boots of springing and striding are dyed in the same loud colors as Gezzen’s armor, and they have the additional power of allowing the wearer, for 10 rounds per day, to activate an effect identical to the water walk spell. The 10 rounds need not be consecutive, and the ability can be activated or deactivated as a free action. If Gezzen’s boots are worn in conjunction with Gezzen’s armor, the granted speed bonus is improved by an additional 10 feet per round. Faint transmutation; CL 5th; Craft Wondrous Item, longstrider, water walk, creator must have 5 ranks in the Jump skill; Price 7,000 gp; Weight 1 lb. Splitshaft’s Gear Splitshaft’s Quiver: This quiver is composed of a variety of broad leaves that have been cured, sewn together and alchemically treated to be as strong as leather. The quiver holds a single masterwork arrow which magically and instantly replenishes itself everytime an arrow is drawn from the quiver. The created arrows last for two rounds before they vanish completely. Only the bearer of Splitshaft’s quiver can use these arrows; the arrows vanish if any other creature touches them. The quiver can produce up to six arrows per day with heads composed of either adamantine or silver, whatever the will of the user. If Splitshaft’s quiver is used in conjunction with Splitshaft’s bracers, the user can fire arrows as if he possessed the Manyshot feat, and the quiver produces as many arrows as you can fire at a time. Moderate conjuration; CL 9th; Craft Wondrous Item, major creation; Price 12,000 gp, Weight 2 lb. Splitshaft’s Bracers: These leather armguards are equivalent to lesser bracers of archery. The wearer of these bracers can fire any bow or crossbow as if he had the Far Shot feat. If Splitshaft’s bracers are used in conjunction with Splitshaft’s quiver, they are treated as greater bracers of archery. Faint transmutation; CL 4th; Craft Wondrous Item, Craft Magic Arms and Armor, Far Shot; Price 6,500 gp; Weight 1 lb.
