You say no God helped them but how do you know this. Increases in power are not proof. Are you going to be all suspicious ever time some one levels up or learns a new spell? What do the characters say happened? Did you trust these people before thier deaths? I don't see why your character would be so extremely suspicious of characters that he use to trust as to plot their down fall?If I was your DM, I would not have told you about the template. In my experience some players can not handle knowing things that their characters do not know.</blockquote>
