Here's another conversion from the 2E MC for Mystara. This one needs a little help, especially on the Construction part; I'm not too familiar with how to figure out the stuff for this. I also need help on deciding whether I should give them blindsight or not because the original gave immunity to light and vision effecting attacks because the constructs had no working eyes. Guardian Warrior Medium Construct Hit Dice: 5d10+20 (47 hp) Initiative: +1 Speed: 30 ft (6 squares) Armor Class: 16 (+1 Dex, +5 natural), touch 11, flat-footed 15 Base Attack/Grapple: +3/+7 Attack: Masterwork greatsword +8 melee (2d6+6) Full Attack: : Masterwork greatsword +8 melee (2d6+6) Space/Reach: 5 ft/5 ft. Special Attacks: -- Special Qualities: Construct, damage reduction 5/bludgeoning , darkvision 60 ft, immunities, low-light vision, proficiencies Saves: Fort +1, Ref +2, Will +2 Abilities: Str 18, Dex 13, Con --, Int 4, Wis 13, Cha 1 Skills: Listen+2, Ride +7, Spot +2 Feats: Mounted Combat, Weapon focus (greatsword) Environment: Any land Organization: Solitary, Company (2-5), or Squad (5-10) Challenge Rating: 5? Treasure: See below Alignment: Always neutral (any) Advancement: 6-10 HD (Medium), 11-15 HD (Large) Level Adjustment: -- Guardian Horse Medium Construct Hit Dice: 5d10+30 (57 hp) Initiative: +1 Speed: 50 ft (10 squares) Armor Class: 16 ( -1 size, +1 Dex, +6 natural), touch 10, flat-footed 15 Base Attack/Grapple: +3/+12 Attack: Hoof +7 melee (1d6+5) Full Attack: 2 hooves +7 (1d6+5) and bite +2 melee (1d4+2) Space/Reach: 10 ft/5 ft. Special Attacks: -- Special Qualities: Construct, damage reduction 5/bludgeoning , darkvision, immunities, low-light vision Saves: Fort +3, Ref +2, Will +2 Abilities: Str 20, Dex 13, Con --, Int 3, Wis 13, Cha 1 Skills: Listen+6, Spot +4 Feats: Great Fortitude, Run Environment: Any land Organization: Solitary, Company (2-5), or Squad (5-10) Challenge Rating: 5? Treasure: See below Alignment: Always neutral (any) Advancement: 6-15 HD (Large) Level Adjustment: -- The sages of long ago created ceramic automatons to protect and guard important sites and people. The guardian warrior and horse are such creatures, animated by little known formulae to obey their masters. Guardian warriors and horses are made to imitate their real equivalents in both form and function. Their armor and appearance fit those of mighty warriors and their mounts of days long past. The constructs are emotionless and without decoration, often featuring plain colors. A small minority (10%) have jewels for eyes that can be worth from 100 to 600 gold pieces Combat: A guardian warrior and horse attack in conjunction with each other. They engage in melee combat without hesitation to fulfill their orders. Immunities (Ex): A guardian warrior and horse are immune to acid and fire-based attacks, although fire attacks cause a guardian warrior or horse to give off a strange glow for 10 rounds. Guardian warriors and horses are unaffected by spells and abilities that manipulate vision or light, such as darkness or light, as well as gaze attacks. Proficiencies (Ex): A guardian warrior is proficient in all simple and martial weapons and with shields (including tower shields). Construction Only a few sages have the knowledge to create these ceramic constructs. The process involves crafting simple ceramic figurines and enlarging and animating them through arcane formulae. This process involves dowsing the figurines in a liquid that will determine the constructs’ alignment: saltwater for lawful neutral, freshwater for true neutral, and acid for chaotic neutral. If the alignment of the creator is one step away from that of the guardian warrior and horse on the law/chaos axis, they ignore her; if two steps away, they attack her. Caster level: 9th?, Prerequisites (?): Craft construct, enlarge person, fabricate, geas/quest, and polymorph any object, Market cost: 9000 gp (?) for each; Cost to Create: 4500 gp (?) + 180 XP for each
