*sigh, eyelash flutter* You had me at Bataan Death March ...but you cinched the deal with war-canoe driving cannibals. So I'm kinda leaning toward that second one. As for me, I'm not sure what I'll do. It will likely be either the next Sky Galleons installment, which I intend to run at GenCon, or a Star Wars game that I'm going to try out in the next few weeks. I'll have to think about that some more. Henry, you were welcome to drop by my house, especially since I wasn't there. ;) We were at the beach all week last week so you didn't miss us. Sorry to hear about the pooch but I'm glad that he's ok now. As folks trickle in to the thread, I'd like to get their opinion on the structure of the "Mini-Con" Game Day next April 22-23. If you haven't already heard, we're reserving the space at the student center for two days (Saturday and Sunday). Would you guys like to keep our time slots like they are (9-2, 3-8) for both days or think about switching to more shorter slots? An alternate that Neal and I were talking about was Saturday (9-1, 2-6, 7-11) and Sunday (9-1, 2-6). That gives us one extra game session and we finish earlier on Sunday. But it also means that there is no scheduled "hang out" time after gaming on Saturday and the games will need to be shorter in general. I could really go either way on this. I see the benefits of finishing sooner on Sunday, particularly for the out of town crowd. And getting in an extra game on Saturday might be nice too. But having longer slots has always given the GM's a bit more wiggle room in the sorts of games they can run. Anyway, I'd like to get your opinions on this whenever possible so we can start planning ahead. And to make sure I'm clear, we're just talking about the April Game Days, not the one upcoming in September, which will stick to the traditional format of 9-2, 3-8.
