Ooooookay. I'm somewhat intrigued by a setting that has Caligula as the "crazy like a fox" emperor. Any more detail about the system?

Hi Kigmatzomat. The game is set in 38 AD in the early Roman Empire where the players are part of a secret order established by Caligula to wipe out the minions of his enemy Neptune.

It uses the Network System (Terror Network, Horror Show and Crime Network) which is a light engine based around d10 dice pools and skills. Characters select a social class, which sets their point ranges for various skill groups, select an occupation, purchase skills, then expertise and also choose patrons/clients. Certain characters have access to combat technique as well. Each point in a skill indicates how many d10 you roll when using it, and the range is zero to three (zero being 2d10 drop the lowest). This is rolled against a target number (and you can get up to three more d10 from situation bonuses and expertise, for a max of 6d10), either set by the target's defense rating or the GM. To determine success, failure or "total success"(a ten result) you simply compare your single highest result against the target number. That is the heart of the system.
