<li data-xf-list-type="ul">Recently ran a Mutants and&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Masterminds game without really understanding the combat system. </li>
<li data-xf-list-type="ul">Expect PC's to have a&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; backstory, or damn it, I will provide one. </li>
<li data-xf-list-type="ul">Lose patience with tactics or&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; powers that basically prevent us from actually playing the game. 3e Rope&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Trick is the clearest example of what I mean. </li>

<li data-xf-list-type="ul">Gave up on the 9 alignment&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; system when I saw&nbsp; 5 players of&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; non-evil alignments all rationalize killing a bound captive.&nbsp; If everyone can do everything, then the&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; system is pointless. </li>
<li data-xf-list-type="ul">Oh lord will my paladin put&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; his faith in your business. </li>
<li data-xf-list-type="ul">Believe that good roleplaying&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; can sometimes lead to poor tactical decisions or leaving treasure on the&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; battlefield. </li>
<li data-xf-list-type="ul">Enjoyed 3e until I saw 4e. In fact, I've enjoyed every new edition more than the previous one.
