The gang also has an intimidating reputation for having taken on the James Gang and having killed Billy the Kid. They just left Haffords Saloon and are on the way to the alleyway near the O.K. Corral to disarm the Clantons. </p><p></p><p><strong>Group Two: The Clantons:</strong> Ike Clanton, Billy Clanton, Frank McLaury, Tom McLaury & Billy Claibourne. All are 2nd or 3rd level fighters. They are waiting in the alleyway off of Freemont Street to bushwack Doc Holliday when he comes by this way going towards the nearby O.K. Corral for a shootout with Ike. </p><p></p><p><strong>Group Three: The Earps:</strong> Town Marshal Virgil Earp, Wyatt Earp, Morgan Earp, and Doc Holliday. All are 4th level fighers except for Holliday who is 6th. Currently in Haffords Sallon. They were going to go to the alleyway to disarm the Clantons, but Arcade’s Gang convinced them to do it instead. They will only wait around five minutes, and then head out themselves. . Their path will have them going on Allen Street and through the O.K. Corral to the alleyway (that was the route they originally took going from Haffords Saloon to the alleyway).</p><p></p><p><strong>Group Four: Johnny Ringo’s Gang:</strong> I received an e-mail from Gary Gygax suggesting that I add Johnny Ringo and his pals Buckskin Frank Leslie and Pony Deal to the action. Playing characters Arcade and Hank joined these three for poker on the 24th, at which time this trio expressed their hatred of the Earps. In the original Gunfight, Billy Claibourne ran away. So I’m thinking that at the first sight of Arcade’s Gang approaching the Clantons I’ll have him run off and get Ringo, Buckskin and Pony. Ringo and Buckskin are 5th level fighters, Pony is 3rd. </p><p></p><p><strong>Wildcard One: Billy Allen:</strong> In the original gun battle, a “mystery gunman” fired a shot or two at the Earps from behind an adjacent building. Historians feel that a man named Billy Allen was the responsible party, so I’ll have him available as a possible anti-Earp “wildcard”. Allen is a 2nd level fighter. </p><p></p><p><strong>Wildcard Two: Johnny Behind-the-duce:</strong> Gary Gygax also suggested the character of Johnny Behind-the-duce, real name Michael O’Rourke, who was an interesting historical character from Tombstone’s history. I found the following interesting piece of historical fiction about him titled “Duce’s Wild”: <a href="http://members.aol.com/margeebee/shortsty.htm" target="_blank">http://members.aol.com/margeebee/shortsty.htm</a> He will feel that he owes the Earps a favor so will be a pro-Earp “wildcard”. He came into town when he heard Arcade’s Gang was there. Johnny is a 4th level fighter/5th level rogue. </p><p></p><p><strong>County Sheriff and Deputies</strong> While they will not be immediately on the scene, if the battle goes on long enough I could also bring in Sheriff Johnny Behan and Deputies Billy Breakenridge and Jeb Dalton. Behan and Dalton are 3rd level fighters and Breakenridge is 5th. </p><p></p><p></p><p><em>Note: The Story Hour for this adventure is almost up to date. I’ll have the final chapter from last week’s game up sometime this weekend.</em></p></blockquote><p></p>
