Tharg and Beowulf move back to Juno's car where the shaman can enter Astral Space and leave his meat body behind, safely guarded by the troll. Steadying his breath Beowulf sends his spirit out of his body and slowly floats out of the car. Looking around his senses are super hyped to the life and essence of the life of the area. He can see that while there are shadows here, judging by the astral background of the area, that it appears most of the people in this neighborhood are fairly happy with their lots in life. The shaman moves his spirit towards Pacific Towers which has a dull grayish glow too it... unpersonal and uninspiring but nothing that would affect those living there. Its a place to live and look good while living there. Rising up he notes that many rooms along the way are at least partially warded or that the owners of certain apartments have taken steps to block astral forms passing through their walls with lots of living plants or even a few bio-gel wall covering. The top four floors are also warded, but lightly for the most part. An astral form could pass through all but the top floor and only alert the spellslinger that rose the wards to know that such a being had pasts through. The top floor had an astral barrier. Not only would it alert the caster but it would have too be broken through on the astral plane. Euphoria's apartment was on the 21st floor. It was warded as the others, in that Beowulf could past through without troubles but he would set off an alarm... [gm]You can make a Perception or Thaumatology skill roll to get an 'astral signature' reading off who raise the wards here if you want. You can't really do anything to defeat the barrier without raising the caster's alarm that an astral form is attempting to pass through BUT you can make a Stealth check to not leave your own 'astral signature' behind when you do it... An astral signature will allow a gifted enough caster to preform Ritual Magic to track someone. Its not easy but possible[/gm]
