Gust of Wind vs. Gaseous Form

How does a gust of wind affect a gaseous formed creature?

Gust of wind says you are affected by wind. Does this mean (1) you are affected by the wind as if you were your normal size, or (2) you are affected by wind as gas or vapor is affected by wind?

Any help?

I'll reply because no one else has. I don't see any hard ruling that you can go by so it is up to the DM. Personally, I would rule that they were blown back like normal medium sized creatures. Becoming insubstantial in my mind would reduce the weight which would cause the wind to affect them more, but on the other hand, the wind could be passing around and through them so they would catch less of it. To me it is like comparing the effects of wind on a huge ship full of cargo with the sails raised vs a slightly smaller empty ship with the sails lowered. I am sure the wind would affect them differently, but since I am unsure of what the difference would be, I would rule that there was no change.

Thanks for the insight.

And sorry for the six bump posts. I wasn't that desperate, but my browser was being that difficult. I should have checked the thread earlier, but didn't get around to it until now. And I was mortified to see six bump posts one with different text. Makes me see very needed. I'm not, really.

I think creatures in Gaseous Form are affected by the wind as if they were normal creatures rather than gasses or vapors. One thing to remember is that creatures in Gaseous Form are flying creatures so they are treated as one size category smaller than their actual size for Wind effects.
