Well, I didn't plan on this getting quite this entertaining.

I am gonna go with Turanil, and with PugioilAudacio, for shear entertainment and because the foriegn kids always get left out of these things. :)

Now, I only have one copy of H.A.R.P., but I also bought a copy of the Dragonlance setting at gencon last year for a board member who never answered my emails when it was time to pay for it. So, does either of you have a terrible preference?

Please email me your email physical addresses at myscreenname@midsouth.rr.com :)

thanks for all the entertainment kids! Wish I had a book for everyone :)

Oh great!! Thank you very much to have chosen me among the two finalists. Just for that, I am happy; it comes well to restaure some of my self esteem lost after having been fired from a job for incompetence (true, not invented for being comical) last friday. :D :D :D

Mmmh... Now back to your generous offer:

1) If I get the HARP book (concerning Dragonlance: I have it). After having heard about it, it much aroused my interest. HOWEVER: in sending this book to me, you would have to ship it to Europe (where live most high elves, though I am not one of them), so it would cost you much more than sending it to Pujio. In addition, despite being now interested in this HARP book, the truth is that it will never be used to play a game with it! I only intend to have it get the dust on my rpg shelf!! (with many other games which are doomed to get the dust until they crumbled into nothingness...).

2) On the other hand, I cannot accept that Pujio gets this HARP book, since he is such a liar (he has got plenty of money in selling 1001 sci-fi weapons, of which I also have been a customer - not that I regret it though) and lame DM, and regularly meets with people with bad tastes (I am even suspecting that they play without minis!).

Hence... well...

Anyway, thanks for the intent!!

Actually, HARP's combat system is such that it can and has been used with D20/OGL systems. It's not a drop-in modification, but the system is semi-percentile based, so if you multiply ye olde 20 times five, you're good.

I've also seen HARP style critical hits used with D20 after a character reaches 0 hit points rather than just zonk out. Speaking of... I think I have a post to make...
