Hey, anybody notice the the Main T13K seems to have been hacked by some Megabyte ?

Yes, Entropy brought that to my attention the day it happened. I have reported it to my ISP, to see what they can do. I've also tried contacting wad directly, since I don't want to go through the week of effort it will take me to rebuild the site if he's just going to hack it again.

Frankly, I am surprised he bothered. We're just a hobby site. Sigh.

I don't know what kind of cryptography our site has, Emiricol. My guess is that it is fairly basic. I am sure that in a room full of code breakers this person would be summarily laughed at and dismissed for bragging about getting into our site.

Probably some pimply faced, spindly limbed, socially inept pudwhacker whose only claim to fame would be to have hacked a totally unsecure hobby site. He'd have better luck at somebody socially accepting him if he put lipstick and mascara on his right hand. Megabyte my arse.....more like Megaputz.

Be that as it may he's causing a bit of trouble for us. I know a couple people who are hobby hackers and apparently this guy is one of the hackers who get off on ruining other peoples fun. You know, kind of like the guys back in highschool who'd laugh at you for wearing glasses, reading those weird things called books, wearing a trenchcoat or simply just being different. His sort of hacking is universally frowned upon by the vast majority of hackers. Not that I'm some authority or speaking anything that's new... still... I hope the ISP can fix the problem as people like that are just downright pests.
