I am making a half celestial character and am not realy sure how the whole HD thing works... its going to be a half celestial human druid starting at level 2 and was wondering about hp... would I just use the two druid levels to give me 8+1d8+con mod to give my hp?... or does HD factor into that somehow? .... I was also wondering about this statment under the entery for half celestials: Skills: A half-celestial gains skill points as an outsider and has skill points equal to (8+ Int modifier) x(HD+3). Do not include Hit Dice from class levels in this calculation- the half-celestial gains outsider skill points only for its racial Hit Dice, and gains the normal amount of skill points for its class levels. Treat skills from the base creature's list as class skills, and other skills as cross class. and then looking at this (under monsters as races) Humanoids and Class Levels: Cretures with 1 or less HD replace their monster levels with their character levels. The monster loses the attack bonus, saving throw bonuses, skills, and feats granted by its 1 monster HD and gains the attack bonus, save bonuses, skills, feats, and other class abilities of a 1st-level character of the appropriate class. Characters with more than 1 Hit Die because of their race do not get a feat for their first class level as members of the common rances do, and they do not multiply the skill points for their first class level by four. Instead, they have already received a feat for their first Hit Die because of race, and they ahve already multiplied their racial skill points for their first Hit Die by four. I think that Half Celestials only have one HD (from the start) so would that mean that I would replace that HD with a druid level and just go with the Druid skills feats saves etc? (I think this would also mean the HD would be covered by 1 druid level giving me the regualr hit points of a level 2 druid... I think, Thank you if you can help me :)
