Half-Elf - Dilettante / Bonus Power?

I'm curious what powers all players of half-elves of different classes have selected for their character's Dilettante racial ability.

The Half-Elf is my multiclass race. So usually the Dilettante I pick is of the class I multiclass into. It just gives a little bit more of the multiclass capabilities and very early into the game.

The Half-Elf Inspiring Warlord in my PCs' group picked Eyebite since it was a ranged attack that keyed off charisma.

I know this is getting into house rules, but this looks like some half-elf interested people.

Anyone ruled that half-elves can use any physical stat (STR,CON,DEX) or mental stat (INT,CHA,WIS) in place of the physical or mental stat of the at will for attack purposes (damage remains the same)? This would make the dilettante power work similar to dragon breath for Dragonborn.

This would create a lot more versatility to the racial trait, and doesn't seem like it would increase the power to abusive levels (it is after all just one use of an at-will per encounter).

My LFR swordmage has switched his Dilettante a couple of times as I have leveled...I multied into wizard for scorching burst and started with Ray of Frost as my 2nd wiz power from dill...then I went with hellish rebuke when i remade him on the character builder...then I swaped it to Magic missle...now that I am going to run him at 11th in a hombrew short dungeon I switched out for magic weapon (LFR version just at 7th level)

I don't think that's particularly necessary. If the half elf has picked a class that causes them to want to favor a particular stat, they'll naturally pick a DT power that matches up with that, or possibly one that matches with their secondary stat. A half elf doesn't always have to lean towards their racial bonuses (CON/CHA) if they can enhance secondary stats or offset a dump stat. For example, a half elf might make a good Barbarian by using the boosts to con and cha to free up more points to spend on STR. if they did this, they might pick a fighter, paladin, or warlord DT power.

How does a level 11 character have only 8 charisma? Shouldn't a half-elf have at least 11 charisma?

I'm planning a Half-elf Bard for LFr that will take Spiteful Glamour as her dilettante power and then multiclass into warlock for eyebite. Lots of Charisma vs will powers!

My half elf uses the warlord power that lets another person attack, but we heavy houseruled that power (works with cha or int, range 5 as opposed to melee).

I would bet money most half-elves pick eyebite or scorching burst. Eyebite keys off a prime stat, and its generally pretty useful. Scorching burst hits a number of targets, so the attack bonus isn't as important, and s. burst is just an awesome at-will.

I put an 8 in it +2 race +1 11th level...11 cha at 11th...you are looking at starting cha...

Half-elf inspiring warlords often take "righteous brand," as their dilettante power. It gives them a little bit of the, "to hit bonus," goodness that clerics and tactical warlords enjoy.
