I've been working on some hybrid systems, similar to the "Reimagining" article.</p><p></p><p>I've been tinkering with giving each race/subrace 1-2 "core" abilities. A player can then spend 3 bonus points among their core racial abilities and an ability of their choice or maybe 1-2 based on class.
