half-giant gladiator

We're starting a new campaign in a couple weeks and one of the players wants to play a half-giant gladiator. Could folks point me to sources that stats out a half-giant (as a stand-alone race or a template) and the gladiator (as a base class, not prestige)? Thanks.

edit: he wants to play a gladiator conecpt character, like the roman gladaitors of old. We don't have any books that has a core class gladiator; just wondering if such a beast exists.

So perhaps the 3rd Ed. conversion of Dark Sun the nice people of www.athas.org are working on might prove useful to you. (Be aware that it is straight 3.0 only at the moment, though they are working on a 3.5 version.)

Athas.org would be a good place, as they stated.

Also, the Kingdoms of Kalamar Players Guide has a
Gladiator Core Class. If they want all their options.

There are about a billion core class gladiators out there. I'm currently using the Exoticist, a fighter variant specialized in exotic weapons from Dragon 310 to represent a gladiator. I'm sure there are others. Mongoose has a gladiator in its "Power Class" series, which are only like $2 apiece. Sword & Fist offers a gladiator in the form of a fighter with a revamped skill list. I'm pretty sure there was a gladiator in one of the FFG books, and as MrFilthyIke mentioned, there's the one in the KoK book.
