In the past, we've had the March Movie Monster Madness and May Mythological Monster Mayhem challenges, where anyone who wants to participate can stat up a monster from a movie, then we put all the entries to a poll. The winner ultimately receives the respect and admiration of his or her peers. :) This month's challenge is to create the most frightening homebrew creature you can come up with. Try to focus on an original creation, or at least a creature from literature or folklore that hasn't appeared in D&D recently. Save the horror movie monsters for the March Movie Monster Madness (where many have appeared in the past). Feel free to use any optional horror rules (such as those in Heroes of Horror), but these optional rules aren't necessary to participate. Post your creature over in Homebrews with the title "Halloween Horror Homebrew Havoc" and the name of your creature. Then come back to this thread and post a link or just mention that it is up in Homebrews. Feel free to enter a creature you've already posted in Homebrews, just be sure to bump it and link it in this thread. Please limit yourself to one entry. Entries must be posted before Monday, October 30th. I'll put up a poll on that day, and the winner will be determined when the poll closes on Halloween. Good luck!
