How are you spending this Boxing Day? Coming from the US, that doesn't do Boxing Day, I'm really not certain what I'm supposed to do besides put the boxes out for recycling.

But it's Sunday so I'm declaring Non-specific Winter Solstice Festival Day #2 and enjoying laying about in sweats, eating leftovers, and reading.

Turkey sandwiches, and a whole lot of chilling out! In years past we’d have gone to the pub for lunch and a pint, but covid, so we decided to stay in.

Cool. With American Thanksgiving so close to Christmas and the turkey being the traditional meal there, we don't often do two birds this close together. The Shiverspouse was considering "Chinese turkey" (aka duck) but as I'm not a fan of Daffy on a plate we opted for roast beef.

Our plan is to eat some more good food and to play the boardgames we received yesterday. All in all, a relaxing day to be had.

Christmas dinner today as three of the clan were working yesterday!

We had a houseful on Christmas, so today is a day of eating leftovers, relaxing and enjoying the gifts.
