HARP reviews?

Okay, in another thread somebody suggested that I urge some folks to do reviews of HARP for EN World.

Well, Joe Kushner has promised to do one (yoohoo Joe! Get crackin' bud!), but I would like to reviews (both official and even non-official ones posted here in this thread) from others.

Perhaps we could start this off by having one or more Ennies judges giving their opinions? Psion? Teflon Billy? Cthulhu's Librarian? Anyone?

Well, to be honest, I've done one of the core game (over at RPG.net), and was trying to do one for the revised material/2nd edition, but with all of the non-Ennies material I've got to review, it's on the backburner for now.

Then perhaps I might be able to talk one of the others into reviewing it...

Joe- I hope it doesn't stay on the back burner too long... :D

Wow, 4 out of five ENNies judges get named, that poor unnamed fifth guy....;)

My copy went home with Teflon Billy. He's planning on running the game so wanted to trade for more copies from the other judges. So, I'd go bug him about it.

yeah, I'm running it for my daughter and her friends. I liked how simple it was given that it was based on rolemaster.

Don't think that I am saying "simplistic", just simple: Uncomplicated, clearly written and intuitive.

What I like most about it is that, despite the fact that it has a rulesystem much simpler than D20, it has retained a lot of the flavor that makes it recognizably "Dungeons and Dragons" (no tm)

anyway, I'm currently writing a reviews of The Authority, Xcrawl, Westbrook, Valus, then Magical Society: Ecology and Culture.

I'd be happy to slot HARP into the sixth space. :)
