Egad, you are right...a quick check at Wikipedia.org turned up all sorts of useful info on Harry Potter broomsticks. And you are right; I was mistaken...there is no Nimbus 3000, I should have said Numbus 2001. So it would appear that there is a huge variety of brooms to develop, if we were wanting to include JK Rowing's charity fundraising book "Quidditch Through the Ages." And frankly, I think it would be fun. Nimbus 1000 (all Nimbus brooms boast speeds of 100 mph) Nimbus 2000 Nimbus 2001 Firebolt (supposed to reach speeds of 150 mph in 10 seconds) Comet Cleansweep Oakshaft 79 Moontrimmer Silver Arrow (this one claims to reach 70 mph with a tailwind) Tinderblast Swiftstick Shooting Star Twigger 90 Wow. Flying at 150 mph (1,320 feet per round). Imagine the possibilities...all of those game-breaking, munchkin-esque possibilities. Anyone feel like redoing all of the rules for overland movement and aerial combat?
