Has anyone done a 3.5 revision of City Of The Spider Queen

Ive been thinking about doing this later in my campaign, but theres so much to convert. The monsters are simple enough, but just about every creature with classes need to be redone. Thats a large task.

Anyone know if it's already been done? PDF, DOC ?

While they covered much in the thread, there still is alot to tackle. I think I may have to pass on running it. I wish I had time to do the conversions.

Hi-

The changes are not that sever to the module, it seem's that the buff spell's and death no save spell's took the bigest hit in the module. Other then that, it is still runnable. I plan on running it myself next week and using 3.5.

The calculations should be correct, but the classes themselves have changed some.
All spell lists will likely need revamping, same with skills, feats etc. Just seems abit much. I'll take a closer look at it all later.
I would love to run this using the Underdark HC too. I was prepared to make some changes with UD in mind, but doing a full 3.5 conversion as well is a little much.

ya dont have to do a full blown revamp, just take it section by section, I'm sure your party is not going to get to the big bad evil chick in just one sitting. So by your first playing, you should have the minor protaginists fleshed out and so on.

TBH, we just started another campaign but Im planning ahead. I have a week off coming around x-mas time, so maybe I'll see what I can do that week.

Nope, no full conversions yet. We're running it in 3.5e as well, but we are running for 8 characters instead of 4-6, so we're beefing up a lot of baddies, and adding more in other places. Not very useful.

You really need to decide what to do with Haste. Every drow caster (and there are a lot of them) has it.

For the record, I hated this module. It read a lot better than it played. The book itself is gorgeous. The quality is excellent and the maps are very well done. In hindsight, there are definitely a lot of things you can borrow from it without having to run it as a full campaign. I ran the first two sections and it was like pulling teeth. Just a big hackfest with annoying drow.
