Has anyone updated "Of Sound Mind" to 3.5?

I've been planning on using "Of Sound Mind" to launch my Eberron campaign this weekend. Looking through it, I see the only major issue is updating the psionics to the XPH version, at least the NPCs. The older ones lean heavily on psionic attack and defense modes which are much changed.

Has anyone tackled this?

I've not specifically tried to convert of sound mind, but I have converted some creatures from Monsters of the Mind over. Yes, attack modes are potentially very potent. I cut the amount of combat modes most creatures get in half, rounding in favor of the defense modes. AND I drop the uses per day to 3 or less (at will mind thrust freely pumped up to your manifester level is a WHOLE LOT more powerful than the "glimmer of a hope you might stun the opponent" of 3.0 psionics.)

The psionic horses used the more flexible but potentially more unbalanced psionic template to convert it; the phrenetic template won't quite give you the same freaky creature. I'd just use the phrenetic template and then swap out powers until you get back to where you started.

I plan on leaving most things "as is." I don't feel the need to justify why a monster has a certain ability. I might adjust the power level to meet the CR, or visa versa. The psionic modes are the main issue from a monster standpoint.

However, the goblins are another matter. I don't want my Kalashtar Psion to feel that for some reason a goblin has an advantage in being a psion by having access to high level powers at 2nd level

If I wasn't easily distracted by shiny objects, this would already be completed instead of just half-done. Nevertheless, I'll have it finished by the end of the week. Once I do I deliver it (along with a box of "thank you" chocolate bon-bons to Fiery Dragon.)

You'll like the new psychal template, I hope. It makes player characters scream "Oh my God, what the hell?"
