I have been addicted to collecting battlemap images ever since I started using an LCD TV with Maptool. When it comes to images, I'm usually cheap and just grab any that people have provided for free online. Whenever I am in the mood to find more maps, I'm always reminded of the maps created by Lord Zsezse Works. They even make a lot of tiles that are just as high quality. They appear to be really nice maps & tiles: http://www.rpgnow.com/product/82408/All-Ground-Tiles-%5BBUNDLE%5D My only problem is that I am not a fan of paying for image files when so many people provide their own for free. Lord Zsezse Works has a large bundle of tiles for around $70, and each complete map averages around $5-$7. That seems like a lot to pay for images that I may not ever get to use in a game. Even though I have collected a lot of digital maps, I still rarely have the perfect map to use and find myself needing to create one from scratch (luckily I'm a graphic artist & know my way around photoshop). I still just like to have maps on hand just in case I get lucky and can use one. It also appears that most of the maps by Lord Zsezse Works are in pdf format. I know some come in jpg format, but I'm not sure if all of them come in both formats. So it could be a pain converting pdf files into jpg images since I would have to align the sections of the maps. Has anyone bought any of the Lord Zsezse Works maps? Do you use them with software like Maptool or something similar? What do you think of them? Are they worth the price you paid?
