* One of my L5R players wanted to have a female PC named Metoko Echichi (We are Spaniards and its a denigrant name, as is Kakita Toshimoko). When I saied to him I cannot allow that he will not play with me anymore, something I have not regretted once. * Another player, in the first module of Shackled City AP, has a Bard that met a very horrible death alone, abandoned by his fellow PC's (The Grell at level 1 can be VERY terrifying). The other players, by the end of the session reacherd level 2. The player was very upset, because i allways ruled that the death of a PC meaned that the new PC was one level behind the original Character. The day after, I received a very long and extenuating telephone call. The player was very argumentative, and using a salesman style rethoric. Not only he managed to force me to agreed he create a new level 2 character, but also managed to have better equipment (Following the charts of the DMG). When the call ended, sudenly I realized the manipulation, and I called back telling him i wasn't going to allow any of that. He ceased to play in my group, and a couple of years after he managed to create his own group of players (In 4Ed. But ceased to DMing after a while). The other players in my group are still playing with me.
