I only chose it because I had gone by a display of heads on pikes and decided "hey, free pikes."Indeed they do, and it is the optimal weapon for a Druid using dex for their melee attacks since they don't get shortswords or rapiers. It makes a lot of sense for a low level Druid, who doesn't want to spend one of their 2 known cantrips on Shillelagh and likely has a Dex score only slightly lower than their Wisdom to just have a Scimitar for those occasional times someone gets up in their face.In fact it a the standard starting equipment weapon option for them as well.</blockquote>
