I admit, I blatantly took this idea for this potion from a certain SNES game. But, does anyone think this is a good item to put in a game? It is basically a mystary potion that has a random effect. There are six effects in all. I would have the player roll a D6 and depending on what they rolled, they would get a different effect. The effects are.
1. The character turns into a huge sized monster. they are in complete control of themselves.( I need to stat this thing out.)
2. They become under the effects of a Ghostform spell(From Tome & Blood)
3. They become under the effects of an Expeditious Retreat Spell
4. They are cured as if by a Cure Critical wounds spell
5. They are harmed as if by a Inflict Critical wounds spell
6. They turn into an evil alter-ego of themselves. Their skin and clothes turn into a sickly color. They attack the closest PC to them. This effect lasts for 3 d6 rounds. They are entitled to a DC 30 Will save to avoid this effect.
So, does it seem like a good item to throw at my PCs?
