D&D 3E/3.5 Helm of the stooge!

Basically this helm/et allows you to take a incredible amount of punishment! Unless the dm says otherwise you cannot take any damage from blows to the head/face!
what do you think & what spells would be needed to make it & at what cost?

There isn’t anything of the top of my head I can think of.

Mage Armor and Shield, stackable, always on, plus a special save for attacks coming at you from in front (make the save = the attack was aimed at your head = it missed). But much to the character's surprise this helm does NOT make you invulnerable to Vorpal Weapons.
The helm is cursed - people want to slap you upside the head a lot, they treat you with disrespect, and your INT has just become your dump stat.
Cost: may be Priceless or may be Worthless.
