Aside from the games, there's quite a few plots that could be meshed in with that:How do you persuade the entertainers and caterers to journey through the bandit infested countryside?The neighbouring lord is jealous of the honour given to these young upstarts.Some guests, possibly representatives of the clerical order who judge the contests, have been waylaid by the bandits. Maybe that lord hired them to do it?One of the attending nobles has been marked for assasination. It must be stoped to avoid a major scandal. Perhaps this lord they dislike is the target...The Black Knight, who wins every contest, is really a blackguard - using dark powers to cheat his way to victory. If no one can stop him, he wins the main prize - a princess as his bride... Of course, if one of the players stop him then they win the princess - which may be more trouble than they ever wanted? (Our GM ran something like this one and it was a lot of fun)Aside from that, I can see a quest to get the fighter a body they can use?Another one with the keep - perhaps some powerful neighbour was owed something by the previous owners of the keep. Now they want to collect. They're not necessarily evil, but could get nasty if they don't get what they want. A LN Wizard springs to mind as a good possibility.</blockquote>
