I have a thing about online petitions (refuse to sign them, the "why" isn't terribly important and would probably come off as preachy)...

That said, this would indeed be awesome. The two D&D arcade games are definitely some of the hidden jewels of the CPS2 era. Thankfully they're readily available online if you know where to look.

For those who haven't played them, they're beat-em-up/RPG hybrids. Imagine Streets of Rage or Golden Axe with a leveling system, inventory, and magic spells... Really great games.

From some quick thought about my friends, I would guess that Wiiware would hit a larger segment of the population who would actually be willing to pay for these.

+1. WiiWare is where I'd want to see these.

Capcom is not usually shy about repackaging games. If they could have released this one again, they would have. The license to make the game happened in the early 90's and probably had a limited time to exist, so Capcom and Wotc would have to come to terms to bring the game out again.

I'd suspect this can't legally happen until this gets resolved.
