help creating level 6 character

Samurai just plain sucks.</p><p></p><p>Duskblade lets you hit hard, very hard, and take some, too. Favored Soul lets you tank up and self-heal. Hexblade is like a Fighter without the bonus feats and a potentially helpful free action curse. Toss in the Shadow Companion variant and his very high defense against magic, and Hexblade's surprisingly useful for this role at level 6. You could still prestige class out after level 4, of course.</p><p></p><p>In any case, Leadership at level 6 is required to win. Make sure you get to control the NPC. Same basic class choices and reasons apply to him/her, though make sure one of the two of you can heal and dispel magic.</p><p></p><p>It's hard to give very specific battle plans with the information provided, but depending on the classes you choose, certain PCs will be more dangerous than others. Eliminate them first. And be sure to reduce their numbers the first few turns, otherwise their sheer weight of actions will pound you. If a soft target is open, go for that. If you can remove the healer, that's always a great start, then towards the end you can just fall back on attrition if you're all nova'd out. Doesn't sound like they have a healer, though. If you can't take out a healer or squishy target without much trouble, go for the one who does the most damage first. The last thing you want is to burn off all your high level spells, save the day, only to have them turn on you right afterwards. Since you or your cohort will be a healer, they'll expect you to heal them. Demand they buy wands and only heal them from those. Don't for a second make yourself vulnerable to them. Have your cohort take turns on watch with you. If they hate you for all of this and attack you, they probably would have turned on you eventually anyway, you just brought the issue to a head sooner and let the game dissolved before spending countless hours playing into it only to have it happen later.)</p></blockquote><p></p>
